Johnny Cash - 'Hurt"
This poignant performance of Nine Inch Nail's, "Hurt" is almost haunting, as it was recorded just prior to Cash's untimely death. Whether or not a Johnny Cash fan, this performance is powerful and deep with emotion. Produced by Rick Rubin, The Man Comes Around is the fourth and final Grammy Award-winning album Cash and Rubin have collaborated on. For More Information contact: Info@FastFocus.TV

Johnny Cash-Cocaine Blues
lilive at folsom prison johnny cash songs cocaine blues!! lyrics: Early one mornin' while makin' the rounds I took a shot of cocaine and I shot my woman down I went right home and I went to bed I stuck that lovin' .44 beneath my head Got up next mornin' and I grabbed that gun Took a shot of cocaine and away I run Made a good run but I ran too slow They overtook me down in Juarez, Mexico Late in the hot joints takin' the pills In walked the sheriff from Jericho Hill He said Willy Lee your name is not Jack Brown You're the dirty heck that shot your woman down Said yes, oh yes my name is Willy Lee If you've got the warrant just a-read it to me Shot her down because she made me sore I thought I was her daddy but she had five more When I was arrested I was dressed in black They put me on a train and they took me back Had no friend for to go my bail They slapped my dried up carcass in that county jail Early next mornin' bout a half past nine I spied the sheriff coming down the line Ah, and he coughed as he cleared his throat He said come on you dirty heck into that district court Into the courtroom my trial began Where I was handled by twelve honest men Just before the jury started out I saw the little judge commence to look about In about five minutes in walked the man Holding the verdict in his right hand The verdict read murder in the first degree I hollered Lawdy Lawdy, have a mercy on me The judge he smiled as he picked up his pen 99 years in the Folsom pen 99 years ...

Johnny Cash - Ghost Riders In The Sky (From "Live At Montreux" DVD)
For more info - www.eagle-rock.com The late Johnny Cash was one of the most influential figures in American music in the post war period. He managed to combine elements of folk, rock 'n' roll and country, which together with his distinctive voice and guitar style, created an instantly recognisable sound. 1994 was to prove to be Cash's only appearance at the Montreux Festival. The "Man In Black" had just released his acclaimed American Recordings album and his European tour took in Montreux on July 5. This track is taken from the Eagle Vision DVD "Live at Montreux".

Louis Armstrong and Johnny Cash - Blue Yodel No. 9
I would have never guessed, but Louis Armstrong was a guest on the Johnny Cash Show. This and the story about Satchmo and Jimmie Rogers show how diverse musical tastes these men had and once again that music is a great connector. This is from episode 38, Oct., 28, 1970 and must be one of Satchmo's last performances. He was such a great performer right to the end and the Nashville audience and Johnny just loved him. Louis Armstrong cracks everybody up at the start of the song: Let's give it to 'em in black and white. THIS AND OTHER GREAT PERFORMANCES ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON A 2-DVD-SET "BEST OF THE JOHNNY CASH TV SHOW". HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE!!!
