This song was written by Ken Tobias from Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Hit # 1 on the charts in Canada and # 7 in USA. Sold over 4 million copies. Jacki is still active in music and fund raising for the Canadian Cancer Society I could not find any images of the group on the web. If anyone has some, please let me know! Until I find the right images to go with the music, I'm going to cheat, and use photos of people who are unaware that the whole world can see them at 17 & 18! I remember that all the class photos were shot in the back room of the school library by the same photographer, in one or two days. Driftwood seems popular for those guys without ties. I also remember having one taken with my letterman's jacket on... that would have been cool. The yearbook covers at the end have the name of the school blocked out, but show the style. The Twelve Dreams Of The Sun was a concert held by musician Jean Michel Jarre on the Pyramids of Giza, Egypt starting on December 31, 1999 and carrying overnight to January 1, 2000. It was attended by 120000 people. The concert consisted of two parts, the Main Concert and a Sunrise Concert. The concert cost approximately $9500000 and it originated when Jean-Michel Jarre was contacted by the Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak with a special project to celebrate the dawn of the new Millennium at the foot of the only remaining monument of the original 7 Wonders of the World - the Great Pyramids. Jarre's team had developed giant projections to be displayed on the faces of the Great Pyramids, however a heavy cloud of fog made the pyramids almost invisible, so most of the projections were discarded. Parts of the concert were broadcast live on TV stations around the world.

On January 22 The Sun newspaper published pictures from video footage allegedly showing Winehouse taking various illicit drugs. Winehouse, who was released with a caution on a separate charge for assault less than two weeks ago, was being held at a London police station after she turned herself in. Madonna's in a familiar position this week as her new album "Hard Candy" debut at No. 1 on the US album charts. It is the artist's seventh chart-topper, the second-most among female artists -- only Barbra Streisand, with eight, has more. As a result, Mariah Carey's "E=MC2" was dethroned to No. 2 after two weeks on top. Britney Spears, whose good behavior just earned her more visitation with her kids, was seen making a visit to a Hollywood recording studio soon after the good news was announced. The singer has been making progress in restoring order to her personal and business life. It was a monster week for the video-game industry as sales of the title "Grand Theft Auto IV" cruised past the 500 million dollar mark in its first week.
